Everyday we are reading about spectrum issues, what going on... new operator coming in the circle new policies coming, somebody fighting against somebody,3G policies etc.... so i would like to give our readers the information related to Indian Telecom Market Happenings.

I would like to start with the information related to 2G issues and Spectrum issues.

2G issues:- In a dramatic way the government planned everything, now we will be having around 10 operators in each circle. Government has almost allocated spectrum to new operators in 10 circles majorly like mumbai, tamil nadu etc...The new operator which will fight for their existence are Swan Telecom, Datacom,Loop telecom,Unitech,Tata. These player will have tuff fight with the majors in the industry like Airtel, Vodafone,Idea etc.
These 2G issue makes a great bonus for the vendors which r fight to get major project. The Information related to vendor and project:-
Ericsson:- The major player in Vendor side has its own style and quality, never compromises on quality, so is always favourate of operator.Majorly ericsson has mutual understanding with Airtel,Vodafone,Idea,BSNL, so major contract from the operators r awarded to them. Currently ericsson is working on IDEA Cellular Project in mumbai, BSNL 2G expansion project.

NSN:- Far not behind Ericsson, NSN ranks no.2 in the market with their flexi BTS for both GSM and WCDMA. They have quality,brand,strong image,confidents. So they have major contracts from IDEA cellular Bihar Circle, Vodafone,Airtel etc.

The 2 chinese vendor fighting to beat the European vendors.

Huawei:- Strong team, always read to fight against anything. Huawei has a major contract from Reliance which has change the game for them. Reliance has awarded Huawei a major contract for PAN-India. Also in bucket they have contract from Idea Cellular for 2 Circles.

ZTE:- A major player in world has arrived with great determination to aquire the Indian telecom market. ZTE has a major project from RTL,MTNL,Aircel and a expansion project from idea cellular and completing for TATA project.

the vendors like Alcatel-Lucent, Motorola and Nortel has less capacity product so they r searching other ways to stay in bussiness like Alcatel-Lucent JV with Reliance for managed services.

3G issues:- 3G policies yet to be decided and the auction for spectrum yet to be carried out. But operator r not lagging behind , they r having round of talks with 3G vendors Ericsson,NSN,Huawei,ZTE. the four majors r in the game.

Lets hope that who ever gets the project their should be benefit to subscriber and mobile should reach to the bottom and top of india without corruption.
